Today I added a new photo album with some pics of our members out and about doing things. It is difficult to take photos when we are doing our activities. The resorts don't allow photos and the site does not allow nudity. As owner I am considering joining a site that will allow our photos but I don't want to increase fees for joining our club.
Next weekend I am crossing Hot Air Balloon ride off my Bucket List. After the trip I will probably stop over at Cypress Cove to meet some new folks. Is there things on your bucket list that we might be able to help you do? Do you have ideas for things to fill in the blanks on our calendar?
Write and let us know what ideas you have.

Hi Friends of Crossed Oaks Haven,
It would be so nice if everyone will join us Saturday September 15th at Sunny Sands to celebrate our 1 year anniversary as an AANR club.
Please bring your dish to pass for lunch around 1pm. I think that the club will be providing some pulled chicken BBQ and meatballs. Patti will also make a chocolate cake and a carrot cake.
Contact the club at [email protected] for more information.

I wanted to let everyone know how much we are being recognized and some of the future plans. The things going on include that we have become a chartered AANR club in June of 2012 less than a year from when we decided to turn our social group into an actual AANR club. We also have an article in the August Bulletin and Joe tells me we are on page 20 of the September bulletin that must have come in the mail today. We were also the only people that participated in the Nudes in the News show.
Our most recent trip was to Cypress Cove for the singles meeting and we did meet so many nice people. I still have a lot of ideas running through my head for plans for next year. More and more travel trips if we can get folks to commit to them. We met someone who may help out with traveling by bus/RV if we can get about 10 people to share expenses. Thinking if we could get 10 people could do a 2 week trip for maybe $500 each.
Our current calendar for the next few months include:
Tuesday August 28th Birthday BBQ at Crossed Oaks Haven in Silver Springs 2pm.
Sunday September 9th join Native Woods nude bowling event in Brunswick, Georgia
(Still to be decided is if we will travel to Jacksonville or Savannah the night before, email [email protected] if you would like to join us.)
Saturday September 15th Trip to Sunny Sands to Celebrate our 1 year anniversary as a club. I am going to ask them to give us a group discount.
Friday September 28th to Sunday September 30th Trip to Cedar Creek in Pelion,SC for Nudestock
This trip costs $100 per person before August 31, plus food and travel expenses, After August 31 they charge $25 more. This is a CAMPING trip so if you want to go please contact Patti before August 28th when she will send in the applications for reservations.
October will bring some work the first weekend but then fun the rest of the month.
I am looking forward to a full email box with more people joining us for these events.

In the last few weeks there has been some discussions going on about what things we will be doing. I have added some events to the calendar and those folks that are actually paying members in the group have gotten emails about the decisions made.
Some of our biggest events will be a couple of travel trips that we have not done in the past. We are planning on exploring a couple of other resorts and joining in some of their big events like Nudestock and nudeapalooza.
Still exploring ideas and prices for a cruise. So many places to see and things to do it is hard to decide what we will do and where we will be next.
Join us in our fun explorations.

Hi,
This past weekend we had a couple of get togethers and had some fun. One of the purposes of the get together on Sunday was to meet with the couple that runs Florida Running Bares. They are another travel club based out of Groveland. Since we have so much in common we decided to join forces a little bit. They will be sharing some information with us and we have placed them on our email list.
This website has some folks who are associates we have met and not full members in the group. I will continue to allow membership on the site to folks that I know. Those that are applying to the site and don't get approval are because you have not given me enough information for me to decide.
It is very simple to join the group and if you truly are following things on the website it would be better if you actually apply and join.
We are interested in making some longer trips and making connections with ideas forming for a major group trip in the future.

Crossed Oaks Haven joined the festivities at Cypress Cove for the first AANR body painting contest. We participated in both professional and amateur body painting. There is going to be pictures in the FROG of our club which is a great step for us. We have been growing and having fun and that is a good thing to do with your life.
I am attaching photos and thinking we may do some more painting to enter into the AANR contest. This weekend will be kind of an open house overnight type get together. We never seem to have enough time to just hang out with each other so this weekend we can do that. Time to make some more plans for the next few months.

We all had an absolutely wonderful time this weekend at Fawlty Towers. I and a few others of the group mentioned how much we liked the tropical plants growing around the pool to make it uniquely comfortable. The staff were so pleasant and welcoming. It felt like we got personal attention. We always bring our own party and this time was no different. It was very nice that they also provided some BBQ on Saturday. It may not be 5 star but we all felt like all stars.
We look forward to maybe some day being able to fill the hotel with great people. We certainly plan to visit again. We never even left to go to Playalinda.

There is so much to see in this world that is seen anew when you take friends that have not been there. We covered a lot of territory on our road trip. We had more ideas than energy and speed of driving. The idea has been born in my head that another trip should be made next summer with a little better planning. The one next year should hit the places we wanted to see this time like White Tail in Ivor, Virginia, and PennSylvan and Sunny Rest in PA, Empire Haven in NY.
Our first stop in Serendipity showed us why they have won rewards as a friendly place. We met up with some of the best folks there and throughly enjoyed the beautiful countryside. This will definitely be worth more visits and the folks are welcome to stop by or join us if they are ever near Silver Springs.
The next couple of days took us site seeing in Cherokee, NC. Next time we head west we will have to catch the resort in TN with similar name. Kenny and Patsy made our travels towards White Thorn Lodge into more site seeing finding places and items with "Beaver" on them. You have to ask them the significance of that. We did not get to stay at White Thorn due to our timing but it is a place we will return to. The folks were very friendly and helped us to make arrangements for another place to stay. I will say trust Google Earth more than your GPS trying to locate this one.
The next major stop was Niagra Falls. It is an awesome experience. The crossing of the border into Canada was also an experience because they made us come in and speak to immigration. We had a difficult time leaving Niagra and heading over to Toronto. There is definitely room for another trip to Niagra some day.
Toronto brought us to some more beautiful scenery and some other misadventures. This is the one place we were supposed to be on a certain day. Luck was with us despite actually driving a few feet on the tram track. The weather was gorgeous for the ceremony and the only real rain of the trip we were inside.
We met very nice folks at Bare Oaks also. We were running very late which became our theme for this trip but managed to get into the room we had reserved. The tour was quite lovely that we took the next day and would love to go back again.
Traveling across NY to reach our next destination had it's very interesting points also. The scenery brought new things to me as well, was not used to seeing windmills other than out West. Have you ever been driving across the countryside on a 2 lane road and saw a sign that said "hungry"? You should stop in and allow the young man behind the counter make you some buffalo chicken tenders and fries. We might not have been in Buffalo any more but it was an experience to remember.
I must say that the people in the naturist world are the most understanding and welcoming folks. We were so honored to be able to see Bare Lake. They welcomed us and showed us the property and the pictures of their duct tape regatta. They are some of the most awesome people and if you are anywhere near Corning, NY you should join them in the endeavors.
Our time ran so short for all the places we wanted to visit. We had to start our trip back and see what kind of adventures or misadventures we could get into. We saw a sign for PA in 2 miles and Patsy said it would take us 30 minutes to get there and then we hit construction. Maybe she should be a predictor.
Given how our timing had been all along the road we decided at lunch that we should call ahead and see if we would be able to get in to our next destination. We would not be able to make it to White Tail so Avalon that we missed on the way up became a reachable goal again. We had such an awesome time with the folks there that we almost did not leave to come home.
We are sorry that it rained all the time in Florida while we were gone. We hit it on our final leg of the trip. Going back to work with rain and extreme fatigue was a big challenge. Today we had our club pot luck and the weather knew we needed another beautiful day. All that came by had a really relaxing time and it was nice to gain some new members.
We are looking forward to Fawlty Towers and Cypress Cove in July. Come join in our fun times.

Hi,
I just wanted to say what a wonderful group this is. We had our pot luck yesterday and even though it was not all the folks in the group it was a great little get together. We stayed around talking until after 9 pm even though some people had a very long drive to make.
We even did a little body painting experiment for the AANR contest. I hope that we can come up with something to enter the contest. Elizabeth might be willing if we have something really artistic or we can just do whatever is in our imaginations.
This next weekend is Memorial Day at Cypress Cove and then a few of us go on our travel trip. I hope to write you all an exciting post about visiting many places along the way to Toronto.
We should be joining TNS soon also.

Hi Friends,
I just wanted to say that our trip to Suwanee Valley Resort was great and that if you are in the area you should visit them. It is going to be a very nice place and the pool is already inviting enough for me to take a dip into, even with a broken foot.
Looking forward to seeing friends this weekend locally and many new and old friends at Cypress Cove for Memorial Day. Some of us will be traveling in June and so excited to be visiting many resorts. Serendipity, White Thorn, Cherokee, Lilly Valley, Bare Oaks, PSHS, Cedar Creek and many others are on our list. I look forward to reporting on them for our friends.
