I can't believe it has been since February that I haver updated our News. Much has been happening, we have played and had fun and yet more is to come in the next few months.
I am also going to add photos of our adventures so make sure to check them out.
Every opportunity that we have had to get together has been fun and we enjoy each others company. It can be a work weekend where we start a project like the sun deck that is now more than half finished. It can also be get your green on when everyone gets their butt kissed :-) . Then Patti goes crazy and buys an RV to take to Lake Como and will be ready for many more adventures.
The only disappointing thing is there are so many opportunities that are available that happen during the one weekend Patti works. Hopefully some of the club members will attend the car show in Tampa area or join in the Tallahassee pentathalon and give us a report.
The next big adventure is around Kissimmee starting April 11th with a bowling event. We are also going to be spending the weekend at Cypress Cove for Nudist Club House meeting. This is our 3rd time attending this event and is always fun.
Three of us are traveling to Las Vegas for the 2nd Nudist expo. This trip is also going to include a vist to Terra Cotta Inn. Hope to see many new friends.

Hi All,
I am sorry I have not been updating items in the last month on our site. Activities tend to slow down a bit during the winter but we have been staying fairly busy. The Nude bowling activity in Kissimmee was so much fun that everyone was asking for us to do it again very soon. I believe that Cypress Cove is working on making some more things happen. I hope that an article and photo will be put into the AANR Bulletin regarding the bowling event.
What else have we been up to? Sunday January 27th we had a club pot luck. A few new members joined us and the hot tub was put into use again after it was repaired recently. Since we are mostly a travel group we usually have everyone bring the usual towel, a dish to pass and their own drink. Sometimes I forget to tell everyone to bring a drink. We might use club money to provide some basic drinks but no alcohol. Most of us are willing to share whatever we bring if anyone forgets something.
Saturday February 2nd a few of us enjoyed a gorgeous day in Gainesville for a textile (costumed even) event. Every year the Alachua County Fairgrounds is turned into Medeival England and the costumery comes out. I much prefer the natural life but it is fun to go out and be dressed up. It does present with issues I did not know I would find but was a great day.
There seems to be a lot of blank spaces in our calendar but I know the year will be filling up. I have to make choices about where and when and how much and then we fill things in. Currently a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas is being finalized. Trying to find out how we are going to make it to Las Vegas is also on the brain storming billboard.
Those of you that follow the blogs if you have any ideas please email Patti at [email protected]
Bringing Fun back into your life is our goal.

Well this weekend was not exactly Beach weather but as per our usual activity we all got together and made ourselves a party. We started arriving at Fawlty Towers Saturday around 11 and continued to have people arrive all the way up to today.
We met people at the poolside and had fun discussing other resorts we have been to. One of the other guests posed Bare with a remote, cell phone and a beer bottle. He is a welcoming mascot and helps to bring us fun times. I decided not to post the lady in the photo album because once you put things out on internet they tend to go places you don't intend for them to go to.
Check out the other photos of MaryAnne, Jim and I went to Playalinda. The drive was pleasant and seeing all the nature preserve and attempting to see Manatee's was a nice way to spend the rest of our day. I will say that it was the first time I ever visited without any kind of parking issue. There was definitely no nudity as my eyes were watering just trying to walk on the beach. The photo of the birds flying was me being silly like a little kid chasing them.
The hardest thing about our group is having to say goodbye. We lose all track of time.
January 17th through 20th is our next big event. Email us at [email protected] and put nude bowling in subject line if you want more information.

Hello Friends of Crossed Oaks Haven,
Today I am cleaning up my desk and finally putting up some photos from our fall/winter events. I can not post all of the things that we have enjoyed. We have been having so much fun.
Check the album out for pics of our slightly naughty cookies. Unfortunately I did not post any of our tasty pizzas. We had so many people in the kitchen and the house was warm and inviting. Matter of fact I had to turn the AC to be cooler. Hard to believe that when today I have to wear my flannel shirt to be comfortable.
The later afternoon took us outside to the hot tub and playing games and what we do best which is talking and laughing and having fun. We even surprised someone with our antics and it has turned out well for us.
December 29th we will be traveling to Fawlty Towers and may even meet some of our distant friends that will be traveling from out of state for the holidays. The holiday season brings so many different things to us that I have not even decided exactly what our plans are for this event. One of the best things about our little group is that for the most part we don't need to plan out the event just make a space available to be together.
At the end of the year we are always playing clean up all the things we have gathered and preparing to start new. I am so grateful that we have become what we are this year. I hope and resolve to make 2013 continue to bring us many fun times with smiles and hugs and comraderie.

The spirit of Christmas is in my soul a bit today and I am looking to share it. Next weekend will be our Holiday party with cookies being exchanged. This is usually a very fun get together where we big kids get to be kids again and play with the cookie dough. Monday I am going to call a group that delivers food near our headquarters and see if they might accept some of our home made goodies. I have always loved to bake and this would put it to a much better use than my see food addiction. (grin)
There are also some spirits sitting on my dining room table from our trip today. I promised Kellie that I would link their website here as it is a quaint little winery with a wonderful atmosphere. We will probably be taste testing the wines before the end of the year. The place we went is about 27 miles from Sunny Sands and is in Satsuma Florida. Check them out at www.logcabinwinery.com
Contact Patti for more details to our trip to Fawlty Towers and for a nude bowling in Kissimmee in January.

Today we had our club Thanksgiving and the members that were here in Silver Springs had a wonderful visit enjoying our little HAVEN. We had delicious turkey and stuffing and all of us are very full.
I am for sure grateful for the many enjoyments and the helpful hands of our club. We were able to place the cover on the pool and enjoy the warmth of the outdoor shower and the hot tub to recover from the icy water.
I am thinking the winter should be spent at those resorts with heated pools and hot tubs.
Tomorrow I will be at work but if I was in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area I would be Nude Bowling.
Next weekend I will be missing a friend of the club at Cypress Cove and there is a couple from out of State that will be in Daytona area. We are making so many new friends that there is plenty to choose from and our travel trip for the 10th will be to Lake Como. Some will be camping and some will just attend for the day probably.
Turkey Rod Run in Daytona after Thanksgiving is one fun event. Native Woods bowling and Suwanee Valley's 5 k run are both activities on my work weekend.
December will bring our cookie exchange. I am thinking if everyone brings their cookies we will still do cut outs because they are fun. We could also make home made pizza or chili. Bring enough to share a few with others.

The last few weeks have been very active for us including a few travel trips. We were witness to an extra special event at Cypress Cove with Nude-a-palooza. There was over $1800 earned for breast cancer support. We were so busy having fun that Bare our Panda mascot spent a lot more time sitting beside the pool than we did.
This weekend on our way out to Sunnier Pines Bare caused a little bit of smile time. We had stopped for lunchat a Whataburger and of course he was riding in the back seat. There was a family in a van parked next to us and they thought someone was sitting in the car but they were not moving. They looked closer and realized it was a stuffed bear.
Our trip to Sunnier Pines (http://www.sunnierpines.net/) really provided the warmth that the weather did not. When we arrived at the gate and saw the welcoming sign that Luann had created for us my heart grew and I felt like our club had truly become a reality. Folks will be able to see her lovely art creation when you meet us at other clubs. We begged and she allowed us to have the sign to take as long as we promise to return again. We do plan to return again and talk to Patti, Joe or Leslie about obtaining a brochure that just might get you a discount on your visit.
Some of the words used by Leslie to describe the weekend include picturesque, friendly, open, awesome. They had created an awesome pot luck meal where we all communed in the cozy comfort of the club house. He also said we were treated like a family. Joe also rated the club as welcoming, the people outstanding and the sign was a heart warming surprise. Our next visit will probably be during a warmer month and we can check out the hot tub that they had donated.
Look for us to join in the celebrations at Lake Como on November 10th. I will be working on our calendar soon to make the decisions on our travel and local gatherings. Join us in meeting all the wonderful folks out there.

Hi Friends of Crossed Oaks Haven,
This is a wonderful wild enthusiastic group of folks. We come in all ages, personalities and abilities. Together we accomplish so much more than we do as individuals.
We had a work weekend that we also turned into Octoberfest. I am just so amazed at how things have turned out. Knowledge and braun and a desire to do things for each other made our work go fast.
There is now a new ramp into the house that should be functional for years. We also upgraded the filter system on the pool. Put the excess wood away for our next project and repaired the gate so it will shut.
Check out some of our pictures. We had so much fun after the work was done. We all got to enjoy the hot outdoor shower and the cool pool. Have not had that many people in the hot tub in a while either.
Hopeing we can continue to have fun and the plans for the rest of the year continue to be as amazing as the last few events.

Hi,
This past weekend Debbie and I both completed a wonderfully fun Hot Air Balloon ride. It is very difficult getting up at 4 to be ready to start getting picked up at 6am but is well worth it. So we trekked off to Kissimmee to go up with Orlando Balloon Rides and the amazing views from as high up as 1000 feet and so close we could almost smell the morning coffee in 1 neighborhood.
Since we were in the neighborhood of Cypress Cove we went there for the rest of the weekend. I am thrilled at how much our little club has grown. What started out with me thinking that I would just pop over to the resort for a few hours turned into us having 6 people spend the night. We also met potentially 2 new members and had one of our club members spend the day there. We danced the evening away and even made some paper hats that we paraded around in for the crazy hat contest.
There are a lot more events available at other resorts and we just need to decide which ones we want to attend. Some are included in the calendar here. Our next events are at home in Silver Springs. Then the month of October will be rounded out with 2 travel trips. Cypress Cove to help Rock Pink at the Nude a Palooza and the last weekend we will hopefully go to Sunnier Pines and Tallahassee Naturally.
Hope to see everyone for some fun and good eats this weekend.
Patti
