Hi,

I see once again that it has been months since an item has been added to the news here on our website.  A major part of the reason has been that there are multiple places to put entries of information for our little club.  You can find us on Facebook, on the AANR website, we also need to post our events in the E-Frog.  There are events to plan and a bit of this note is to talk about what has been going through Patti's brain.

First thing is that Patti has started traveling for work and from February until August her primary home is in the Tallahassee area.  Since this is not a normal location for our group to get together there has been challenges to our events.  Some of our group have made it to the events in the Tallahassee area and a few have made it to other areas for events.  It is truly a challenge to get our widespread group together all at once.  (We never have)

There are some events that are always on our calendar and have grown to be very successful.  Our nude bowling in January was our biggest and best yet.  The next one of those is scheduled for September 3rd.  One of the thoughts going on is to organize a bowling at a lane either near wherever we do our solar plunge or maybe when we go to Sunnier Palms in July.  As a leader Patti needs to know everyone elses thoughts on what we should focus on creating.

We have one major project that we need to focus on.  What form should our Solar Plunge event take this year August 11-13, 2017.  The hotel we used in Daytona has not reopened after the hurricane last fall leaving us without a venue.  This has caused us to stall any of our actions for the most part but there has been some brainstorming going on.

One idea that is in research mode is to maybe do a visit to a hotel in St Augustine area.  The hotel is only 27 rooms so it is possible that we could fill it easily.  We don't have a lot of time left to find out if they would be willing or if it can be exclusive.  It is more expensive than where we hosted before and not directly on the beach but one of our members is going to look at it.

Another area that is of interest is Cocoa beach.  There is a member/friend who might host a party at their place in Rockledge that could include sleepover.  It is possible to speak to Fawlty towers and find out if they would be willing to do a nude event and they have I think 32 rooms.  In this area is a nightime kayak tour that would be a fun thing for our adventurist friends.  The kayak tour or the hotels have not yet been contacted.  It is just ideas.

One of the other things that was discussed at an event this past weekend is trying to get a hotel to allow for a nude swim at an indoor pool.  This would be a Tallahassee event.  This hotel has not been contacted by anyone and I am not sure what the opportunity would be.  I have also looked at the bowling alleys in Tallahassee and they have 2 that appear to be run by the same company.  One is way too big the other is 24 lanes so possible.

Our current events are about once a month of trying to get out and enjoy activities.  May will find us at Cypress Cove 19th thru 21st.  June will find us at Lake Como 9th-11th.  July will be at Sunnier Palms 6th thru 10th.  Help us figure out our Solar Plunge in August.

It is Patti's plan to go to California from September until December.  With her travels the plans for the club are that she will try to keep sending out the news about opportunities for everyone.  The winter months she will be back in Florida and there are 4 members going on the nude cruise in February.  Thinking about next year already, OMG.

Please if you have read this and you have any opinions on any of the events contact us.  You can reach the club via phone 352-817-2987 or by email [email protected]
